I know I blog about a lot of different topics and all very relevant to this challenge, however I don’t want to lose site of the high quality products Amway has to offer.
So check them out, contact me if you are interested in buying any of these or other Amway products at a discount.
Have a great night everyone!
Would love to read your feedback. 🙂 and if you know anyone who maybe interested in extra income, please share my blog with them.
This could explain the increase in popularity of information graphs. After reading yet another great site on how to generate more traffic to your blog, they suggested using them…here is my first attempt. These could get fun 🙂
I mentioned in an earlier post that in my search to finds ways to generate more traffic to my blog, I came across the concept of guest blogging, and it seemed great! They highly recommended it.
I have finally had enough time to go back and do further investigation on this “guest blogging” idea and what I found was a whole lot of controversy. So much controversy that even Google is involved.
Here is how I saw guest blogging working;
- You would look for high traffic quality websites that allow guest bloggers.
- You would apply with a well written piece.
- They accept! Let’s be positive here J
- They post your piece and it is now exposed to their much larger following than your own blog.
- Those followers fall in love with what you wrote click through to your site from the host site and start following you!! Yay!!
Love it, so simple! Not so fast…
Here is what Matt Cutts – Head of Google’s Webspam team had to say about Guest Blogging, February, 2014.
“Okay, I’m calling it: if you’re using guest blogging as a way to gain links in 2014, you should probably stop. Why? Because over time it’s become a more and more spammy practice, and if you’re doing a lot of guest blogging then you’re hanging out with really bad company.”
As you imagine this statement stopped me in my tracks, I needed to go back and do further investigation. I have no idea what “gaining links” is and how does guest blocking lead to spamming?
Here is what Wikipedia says about Blog Spamming –
“Spam in blogs is done by posting (usually automatically) random comments, copying material from elsewhere that is not original, or promoting commercial services to blogs, wikis, guestbooks, or other publicly accessible online discussion boards.
Adding links that point to the spammer’s web site artificially increases the site’s search engine ranking on those where the popularity of the URL contributes to its implied value, an example algorithm would be the PageRank algorithm as used by Google Search. An increased ranking often results in the spammer’s commercial site being listed ahead of other sites for certain searches, increasing the number of potential visitors and paying customers.”
So how do you stay out of trouble with Google?
- Write high quality guest posts.
- If you write for more then one website use unique posts for each one.
- Pick sites that relate to your blog, this will allow natural and appropriate linking.
- Most importantly, build relationships not links.
Am I discouraged from trying Guest Blogging? Believe it or not, I am still going to give it a try.
For one thing, I have no desire to trick anyone into following my blog or joining my challenge. Secondly and most accurately, I wouldn’t even know where or how to start to game Google or any other search engine. And for the effort it would take me or anyone else to learn these skills, we can instead be building real connections in support of our business efforts.
After all Google wants us to be successful on the internet, they just want us to do it an honest ethical manner, I think that is what we all want.
Happy Friday Night everyone! Have a great weekend!
If you know anyone who would find this blog useful, helpful or interesting please share.
Would love to hear any of your thoughts on Guest Blogging!! Feel free to leave a comment.
Can I help 20 people make at least 1000$ this year, using only social media? Does this sound familiar?
If you have been following my blog you will probably recognize that it is a slight variation of my original goal of making 20K in the next year, selling Amway through Social Marketing.
It was brought to my attention through a follower blogger, who I don’t know, that I would probably gain more traction if I offered to help others make money. Duh, any strategic business person should realize that their audience needs to see “What’s in it for me?”
How did I miss this??
So What is in it for you?…I would like to help you make at least 1000$ over the next year selling by Amway products and supporting others who may want the same opportunity and so on and so on 🙂
Let me be upfront;
1. It’s Amway.
2. You will need to work hard.
3. You will never need to solicit your friends and family unless you want to.
4. If you don’t plan on talking to friends and family you will need to be tech savy and have a background in social media.
5. There is 166$ upfront fee that covers your starter kit, which is totally 100% refundable if you are not happy.
6. Yes, you should probably buy and use products. Just products that makes sense to you, don’t over buy or spend.
7. I will support you the entire way.
I wrote a post a few weeks ago summarizing this opportunity that you may find helpful. Check it out here.
I am beyond excited about this new challenge, looking forward to working with you!

Special THANK YOU to Russ for taking the time to read my blog and such great advice!
Have a great evening!
as always please like, share and or follow my blog.
Click on the picture to the right that shows Canada’s Food Guide. I am assuming it would closely follow other countries guidelines.
In theory it looks great, but if we really studied our diet for one week, I believe even the healthiest of us would struggle to meet these recommendations.
Lets look at the definition of supplement – “something that completes or enhances something else when added to it.”
That is the key, supplements are not meant to replace healthy eating but are there to enhance or support our diets.
Take this quick test to see if you ate even enough of just your recommended vegetable and fruits today
Amway offers a wide variety of safe vitamins to supplement your diet. CLICK HERE to have a look. It’s always best to work with your health professionals when making these types of decision.
Hope this post was helpful 😉 Have a great evening!
Please note; this information isn’t meant to replace a health professionals recommendation, as these are solely my opinions.
Last week, I placed my first Amway order, and after I felt a bit anxious.
Did I really need what I ordered? Did I pay too much? Will I like the products. I really was anxious however pushed it to the back of my mind, it was too late now, I would wait for it all to arrive. And today it did!
Do I feel any better? I am not sure yet, I will let you know at the end of the blog, as I am going to review everything and write as I go.
First I want to say, from what I have read there is a lot of criticisms around the pressure for Amway Consultants to buy a lot of Amway products. I see both sides, can you really sell products you don’t use? If you were a sales rep for Nike would you wear Adidas? But then I see the other side, I would guess a large percentage of new Amway consultants are doing this for needed, not nice to have extra income and are probably not in the position, financially to buy products, even with the discounts. So my words of wisdom, don’t ever buy anything you won’t use, or don’t already use, or can not afford, ever! Do what is best for you, we are all adults, don’t blame anyone else for pressuring you into buying products you don’t need, say no and don’t bother explaining, no is sufficient.
I am lucky enough to not have financial worries, however I am not into wasting money or paying more for a product that doesn’t hold enough value to pay the extra. There are many things I buy on a daily basis that I pay a premium for because I perceive good value. Perception is relative to the person, you may not see the same value as I do and that is ok.
Let’s review what I bought and what I paid;
One more thing to keep in mind, I bought enough product to ensure I met my 3% bonus level, which is roughly 100 PV points(PV points DO NOT equal $) and 50 of the those points have to be from customer sales. I also bought/sold enough to meet the “Fast Track” bonus(if you have any questions on how that works go to my contact page and send me your questions or leave a comment).
So here we finally go: Click on the links to see the retail price, and be sure to ask me how you too can buy the products at a discount.
Artistry Skin Care System – my cost – 37.12$, I am totally happy with this purchase, I have been using the samples of this product and love it. I think the price is better than what I would normally pay.
Liquid Hand Soap – my cost – 5.36$, this is great value, I normal just pick up whatever at Winners and I hate the scent, this one has none, price is cheaper and better quality than what I buy
Snack Popcorn – my cost – 32.16$, for 24 packages, 1.34$ each. Honest, I was hesitant on this one, as I don’t normally buy packaged snacks, as they are normally full of additives, luckily these only have 4 ingredients and are all natural 🙂 I still find these expense but I find all packaged snacks expensive, so I would say the price is in line with what I buy at the store however I see better value in these! The true test will be if my kids eat them, I will keep you updated.
Hair Shine Spray – my cost – 14.03$. I have long curly hair and humidity is killer on my hair, so I go through a lot of this product. The price is totally in line with what I pay.
Dish Drops Dish washing soap – my cost – 9.83$ I don’t normally buy environmentally friendly products, however I have been wanting to. So this is a must have for me. I used it today and it worked great. I think the price is very reasonable and cheaper than what I have priced at the grocery store. Very happy!
Glass Cleaner and Spray – my cost – 4.85$ I really think this one is great value, much less expensive than what is available at the grocery store and environmentally safe.
Make Up Remover – my cost- 11.99$. This is in line with what I currently pay and something I would use every day anyway. You can probably get this cheaper but I hate putting crap on my skin.
Protein Bars – my cost – 18.79$. I like these but I don’t love them and not sure I will buy them again, however we are not always going to love all food products and I think they are worth a try and priced reasonably.
Light Up Lip Gloss – my cost – 11.50$. If you have read my blog you know I absolutely love this product!! Price is very reasonable and I think better priced than high end cosmetic products.
Tooth Brushes – my cost – 11.72 for 4, basically 3$ a tooth brush and great quality. This one is a no brainer, everyone needs tooth brushes!
Chocolate Meal Replacement Shakes – my cost – 68.25$, 28 shakes, 2.43$ a shake, great value. This is a product my boyfriend and I already buy and use at breakfast time. By the way this is on back order, so no idea how it tastes, but I like that it is popular. I will let you know what once we try it, and if I don’t like this product, I will send it back.
Ok, that was a lot but overall I very happy with my purchases. Wavering a bit on the pop corn, probably not a do over and not sure about the bars. But here is the best news, all products have 100% money back guarantee. If you don’t like them you send them back!!
Shipping was only 24$, that is the max you will ever pay.
I hope this was helpful, as always would love to hear your feedback, leave a comment. Don’t forget to share this post with your friends.
Have a great evening!
I love capitalism, I am not afraid to say it but I also love meditating, yoga and yes even social programs, after all I live in Canada. We pay some of the highest income taxes in the world, is it perfect?, no however I think our heart is the right place. Lol, I pretty sure about half of you reading this right now think I am crazy!!
Since starting this project I have been a bit disappointed by what I have come across.
Here is my number one piece of advice, “if it seems to good to be true, walk away!” Run! Don’t sign up, don’t give them even 10$!!
I am amazed at the number of sites dedicated to selling you, not products but a dream of becoming rich. Ads that quote statistics of the their top earners making millions in just 2 years or less. They are taking advantage of those who are in a temporary time in their life where they are desperate for money and are easily swayed by unrealistic promises and results.
I hate being on a soap box, I have no interest in under cutting anyone or taking away from their right to make a living. But in case you are tempted to sign up for those slick marketing promotions, at least ask yourself these questions first:
1. Are they promising unrealistic results, too good to be true?
2. Is there a pressure to sign up right away?
3. Is the advertising full of people holding bundles of money, lounging on yachts?, you get the idea.
4. Do they ask for your credit card information for their free trial?
5. Do they promise instant results?
Do your home work, research the internet, read articles, watch you tube videos, but go with your gut. Dream big, have large expectations for yourself, but trust your inner voice.
Enough gloom and doom, it’s Friday after all. I just want my message to be, you can have great success and make money and still do it with integrity and with yours and others best interest at heart.
Remember, what we put out into the universe is what we get back!
Have a great long weekend everyone!
As always please feel free to share my blog, like it, and if you think I am totally wrong leave a comment 🙂 I love all perspectives, it is the only way to grow.
